The meeting
On a cold Saturday afternoon, hungry,tired and destitute, walking and praying trusting God for a miracle.

Suddenly a women in a silver grey car asked me if i remember her, i said yes,you are the lady that prayed for us at Fredrick place.

I told her i was looking for a place to stay for myself and my daughter.

 

The blessing
Not knowing what i was stepping into,but i do believe when opportunity is handled correctly we simply step into the next level.

When we show up in places, our presence demands an explanation,

This is the place where i found healing,salvation,love and much more.

 

The Place Shalom
As women we are always open for attack. What i 've learned is that one should always be covered with prayer,seeking the face of the Lord.
Trusting God and walking by faith,at Shalom i have learned i should not lean onto my own understanding,but God. Shalom was the place where i asked The Almighty to enlarge my territory,meaning to inspire others,to minister to broken  women with a past.

I must say i found salvation at this place, Freda Crowie always taught me how to pray, not only for myself,but for others as well.

I grew stronger in grace and wiser in wisdom,sometimes because we cannot see,it does not mean God wont do it.

My little girl was taught to say confessions,even today she still says them. This is not any place,but a special place. This place always had something left something good,if ever i can give back i would want Shalom to stand forever.

I know what it brought out of me,i have learned to appreciate,love, prayer and cry,whether it was tears of joy or sadness.

I will always be gratefull to Shalom and i would advise women to go to Shaolom,

Today i am independent, a women that knows she must go to church,a mummy that knows to prepare supper for her kids.

A mummy that knows to stick with her children,no matter what the circumstances,
